You could win $1 million with UT Tyler's Southside Bank Patriot Million Dollar Hole-In-One Contest and Patriot Classic Golf fundraiser

The University of Texas at Tyler is hosting the 33rd annual Patriot Classic golf fundraiser and the Southside Bank Patriot Million Dollar Hole-In-One contest which benefit scholarship programs for its Tyler, Longview and Palestine campuses. And you could win $1 million!

The Patriot Classic has two different parts: the Patriot Golf Classic and the UT Tyler Southside Bank Patriot Hole-in-One.

The UT Tyler Patriot Golf Endowed Scholarship fund currently stands at over $2.1 million raised for deserving UT Tyler students. Each Classic event is staffed by community volunteers and supported by numerous organizations.

“We couldn’t do these events without all the participants, sponsors and volunteers who come together to make an impact on the lives of UT Tyler students,” said Orrie Covert, vice president for advancement. “These events are the perfect example of how much the Tyler community supports student success.”

The UT Tyler Southside Bank Patriot Million Dollar Hole-In-One contest offers amateur golfers age 18 and older the opportunity to compete, at $1 per shot, in preliminary daily rounds. Qualifying rounds begin Monday, May 13 through Saturday, May 18.
